  17. <p>    Lights! Camera! Lawsuit! Private lives can suddenly become
  18. painfully public when the video camera is turned on, and this
  19. time the scene was particularly steamy. All the trouble started
  20. last summer, when Hollywood heartthrob Rob Lowe went to Atlanta
  21. to attend the Democratic National Convention. According to a
  22. lawsuit, the 25-year-old actor wasn't just politicking during
  23. his stay in the city.

  25. <p>    An Atlanta mother alleges that Lowe picked up her
  26. 16-year-old daughter at a trendy downtown nightclub, then took
  27. her and a 22-year-old woman back to his hotel room. The result,
  28. says the mother, was a little homemade porn. Lowe had no comment
  29. but, judging by copies of the videotape that were circulating
  30. last week, the ensuing romp was hardly Oscar material -- or even
  31. a candidate for a summer rerun. The reviews, however, could turn
  32. out to be downright unfavorable for Lowe. The Brat Packer's
  33. alleged performance may get the thumbs-down from Georgia
  34. officials, who were investigating the case for possible criminal
  35. charges after the girl's mother filed a civil suit against the
  36. star.
